Is it really having Dolby, I doubt as box doesn’t mention anything. Plain echo 4th gen are available at a cheaper price.

Got the product delivered well ahead of time. The product is robustly built, good for music overall. I am no audiophile, but I personally feel for Heavy metal, Thrash metal and Death metal, the bass drums are not very clear. Vocals, guitars and bass guitars are great. However, with the app, one can improve the sound quality of drums, albeit not bad at all coming from a speaker of this size.
Volume is fine, I listen at 50 percent volume and it's pretty loud. Best way to listen perhaps is to buy one more echo and pair in stereo mode for great audio output. Sounds best when the device is kept at the same height in line with your ears. Feels premium and pretty handy too. Go ahead and buy one. But 2 if you can afford, then pair. That said, don't compare this with the legendary legacy Sony systems. Sony will remain Sony, but this will save you a ton of space.

The midrange sounds nice. The speaker is a good upgrade over phone speakers but can never replace a good music system. Bass is a little over powering though not as much as in the Studio model.

That’s good. Responds well. The answers are a bit too long and the ‘By the way’ is irritating. Brief mode reduces the nuisance a little bit still quite irritating.

Looks:
Spherical form is nice. The Colors on the base are too bright for a late night listening in a room with dimmed lights. I am planning to use a black marker to hide it till the time I can find an option to switch the lights off completely. ‘do not disturb’ is not completely effective.

Awesome product premium sound quality with Dolby. Voice recognition is very strong very much improved in Alexa I bought this product in pre launch offer at great price. Must have product my kids love it thanks Amazon for great product.I think it is desirable for Amazon to provide user guide with all details about installation and the different ways in which it can be used in a PDF format for download and use by customers. Thanks to Team Amazon.

The new 4th gen echo has a room filling sound but lacks optimum bass. As usual, alexa is the best.It’s a very good device for smart home system not that good as a Bluetooth speaker don’t consider as a Bluetooth speaker bcoz you have plug it in a place it is not rechargeable device that is the only problem with this device it has a very good voice recognition sound quality and thickness I really like this as a smart home device
